Epic Awesomeness

The last 30 days have been incredibly great for me, and I want to share the following with you.

On October 8th (fitting to my birthday), the very first image of my gallery (click me) received 100 favorites. Awesome!

My desktop broke. Nothing to be happy about. However, that forced me to set up my laptop again (what I never wanted to do but always needed), and now it's having all I need on its HD. Awesome!

My submission for the Unknown Moons contest, click me, received more appreciation in a faster time than any other image of my gallery before. Awesome!

I got back three exams -- English, German, and Physics. I scored a 1+ in each of them which translates into A+ or 100%. Awesome!

Now, today was the Ultra-Combo-Finish. I logged into my account and was slammed with 300 messages in my inbox (by now, it's almost 500). Quite a bunch, if you ask me. That's what I usually get within 3 or 4 months. I was kinda confused until I saw the little box under this image. A DD? For me? EPIC AWESOMENESS!!!
Thanks again to ^taenaron for suggesting and ^joannastar for featuring!

Probably, I won't be able to sleep tonight. Oh well, I don't need that today =P

So, for all of you that haven't noticed, today is my 19th. Oh well, not that I do care a whole lot, I just wanted you to know.
Presents? Well, nothing really special. Although, one has happened here on dA. Home is the first image in my gallery that has reached 100 faves. Thinking back to my humble beginnings, this is pretty badass. So yeah, thanks to all of you for your support!

Exam-time is almost over, took a German-exam today, and now heading towards holiday-season (history will follow). Two weeks should give me some time to do what I've planned out. Yes, there are some new images in the making; one of those is a totally new art-style for me. Progress is slowly but steadily. Probably around 35% done yet.

I worked a little on my camera and enabled some great features that actually only top-class-cameras have. Let's see what I can do with that. Took me a couple days plus some extra rage-hours because things initially didn't work as they should.

All for now. Cheers.

I come back from school, check my messages, and I see that a new Science Fiction art of the month has been released. So far, everything is normal, except for one thing. Check out this screenie I took: [link]
Yep, I pruned out some parts to leave you with the important info.

"Well, what's so awesome about this?", you might ask. True, many people don't see any big deal in this; however I do. The fact that 2 gallery moderators gave me a :+fav: is already pretty damn amazing. But then, there's the saotm-deal. The Day Earth Died has been featured in one of the most prestigious News-reports regarding Sci-Fi (well duh). I feel like I've won the jackpot in a lottery. My work is among the best of deviantArt! Again, a big Thank You to ^gucken and ^taenaron for the feature! You guys rock! Check thingy out: [link]

tl;dr: I'm fricken happy :iconexcitedplz:

I'm gonna make this short and sweet...

School has started again; this is my last year as a student. I have a retarded schedule which keeps me occupied pretty much the entire day (not counting in homework). Means: less time for any leisure activity (such as drawing) as I'm planning to ace my classes.

Conclusion: this will be a shitty year.

kthxbye.

These... (Update)

Yes, that's right. I feel totally pissed now. Why? Look at this: [link]
(edit: yes, no image in there at the moment. Read down a little further)

Now, guess what?

These people STOLE MY image. They didn't credit the artist, they didn't link back, they just took the download link from deviantart and inserted it in there. I'd have been fine if they had at least asked me, but nothing as that.

Now, any opinions what I should do? I've never dealt with copyright issues, so a little advice would be nice. Thanks in advance.

Update
As these people are obviously trying to ignore me (I sent them two emails, on 5/18 & 5/31), I'm gonna take measurement #1: disable the download possibility. If they're gonna trying to evade by using a different link, measurement #2 will follow: I already prepared a nice and huge watermark which will cover like 80% of the entire picture. This should take care of them. Hopefully. Buttheads.
At this point, I want to thank everyone who has helped me not going totally crazy and taking the (in my opinion) best and easiest way ;)
All for now. Cheers :ahoy:
