Soul Society

"Soon after, we were split from our carnal remains without the chance to find peace someday. So, we roamed the streets, having no place to go to, just moving around, constantly being exposed to the atrocities that put us into that situation in first place.

Wow, I am so happy that I finally managed to finish this piece. I started it back in April and am proud to finally be able to show it to the world
I had pretty much everything planned out already, so I am particularly happy that the image turned out as I wanted it to look like. A great source of inspiration was Kamelot with their song "Soul Society" that I heard approximately 3,451,739.1375 times during creating

So, this is somewhat a follow-up of other post-apocalyptic images I have done, namely these:


I think, I'm done with painting cityscapes for now; it just takes sooooooo long to paint each window, haha
Also, just for the record, 4-point-perspective is a pain to paint xD
