Wow, I am so happy that I finally managed to finish this piece. I started it back in April and am proud to finally be able to show it to the world
I had pretty much everything planned out already, so I am particularly happy that the image turned out as I wanted it to look like. A great source of inspiration was Kamelot with their song "Soul Society" that I heard approximately 3,451,739.1375 times during creating
So, this is somewhat a follow-up of other post-apocalyptic images I have done, namely these:
I think, I'm done with painting cityscapes for now; it just takes sooooooo long to paint each window, haha
Also, just for the record, 4-point-perspective is a pain to paint xD
