Free Like An Eagle by BLPH Free Like An Eagle by BLPH
"And there, hidden behind a giant cliff and enclosed by humonguous rocks, it was: the eagles' nest we have sought for months already.
I remember, when people asked me 'How difficult do you estimate the shoot of the next documentary?', I laughed and responded: 'Don't worry, it should be fairly easy to capture it.'
How wrong I was! 5 long months did it take me to get this far. I surely will not quit now, so close before getting the best captures ever made!"

Actually, I started this project somewhen in April, yet it kinda disappeared in the abyssals of my computer, waiting to be rediscovered one day :P
I was in a serious hole regarding creativity, so I started doing a generic landscape-scene. You couldn't deny, it just didn't look right.
That's why, at this point, mad props go to =Kaioshen, =Smiling-Demon, and ~momentica-one for their advice, helping me to pull this one out. You were a huge help
So yeah, I'm pretty happy about the outcome and I hope you are, too.

Enjoy :)

Lacks some nude stones to be more convincing but still a very utopian feeling thus a refreshing sight.

Thanks! I fear I won't ever go back on that one to render out some rocks *coughrendertimescough* but I'll keep that in mind for any projects of similar nature ;)

Neither nor :p
I have modeled this environment in 3D, rendered it out, and adjusted some minor things by overpainting ;)
